Twice In One Week

Boy! I'm back, again!

Life has just been cruising this week. The baby puppies are getting big, if you call a one pound puppy, BIG! lol

Work has been sucking the life out of me lately. The company, region wide, is doing terrible. Expenses are high, incoming revenue is low. Not good. I received an email, first thing this morning, from my boss who had forwarded an email he received from his boss. His boss said, "...yesterday was the worse day of his working career..." The company is struggling, and there's plenty that is out of our facility's control.

Censes is low. Patients are not coming like they were before. Everyone facility is holding onto what patients they do have, not transferring their

An Hour Lost

I just don't think I'm gonna make it... I had a hard enough time getting to work by 9 a.m. before the time change! And now, they've gone and moved the hour up so I need to be at work an hour earlier. Knowing this torchureous fact, you'd think I'd be in bed, sound asleep by now... but here I am, 1:50 a.m.! ARGH! I'm gonna need I.V.Coffee tomorrow!!!

Has It Been THAT Long?

Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday I was here, blogging away. So, what's up with me lately?...

Since the first of January, I've been working a lot at work. A lot! We have converted billing systems at work and I've trained 5 others how to use the new product. I've been using the new product for nearly five years myself, but my Outpatient staff has been working in a totally different system until now. They have caught on pretty well, but change can be hard for some people, and it takes time for them to feel confident moving around and doing their day-to-day jobs in the new system. The new system has also created more work that must be done by the end of each month, and I didn't get more people to do the job. I actually had to let one person go, and because census was low, I had to cut back everyone else's hours on top of this conversion and training. CRAZY! Anyway, we have all been working really hard to get everything done that must be done in a month.

My Molly had a new litter of puppies! They were born in the evening of Feb 6th, a male and a female, just perfect! The puppies are now four weeks old, and cute as can be. And, no, I will not be keeping anying of these. The little female is already sold to Molly's mother's family. The little male is still available, but I do not believe I'll have any trouble finding him a great home.

My daughter came home from Los Angeles for a quick visit the last weekend in February. She brought home a beau for us to all meet. She's pretty serious about this young man, he may be "the one," she says. He was very polite, attentive to my daughter, did dishes, made beds... past my mama-test! He's very nice, and treats my daughter like a queen. I had a nice visit with them.

But, what's been taking most of my time lately is, I've started knitting up a storm. The daughter of one of the gals I work with, had twin girls the same weekend my daughter came to visit. How exciting! Twin girls! I had been working on these little beanie hats for them. The mom was thrilled with the beanies and sent me these photos... aren't they just adorable!? Oh, and the twins are cute too!

All the while, I've still been researching old family records and scanning documents and photos for the family newsletter. Busy, busy, busy!
