Has It Been THAT Long?

Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday I was here, blogging away. So, what's up with me lately?...

Since the first of January, I've been working a lot at work. A lot! We have converted billing systems at work and I've trained 5 others how to use the new product. I've been using the new product for nearly five years myself, but my Outpatient staff has been working in a totally different system until now. They have caught on pretty well, but change can be hard for some people, and it takes time for them to feel confident moving around and doing their day-to-day jobs in the new system. The new system has also created more work that must be done by the end of each month, and I didn't get more people to do the job. I actually had to let one person go, and because census was low, I had to cut back everyone else's hours on top of this conversion and training. CRAZY! Anyway, we have all been working really hard to get everything done that must be done in a month.

My Molly had a new litter of puppies! They were born in the evening of Feb 6th, a male and a female, just perfect! The puppies are now four weeks old, and cute as can be. And, no, I will not be keeping anying of these. The little female is already sold to Molly's mother's family. The little male is still available, but I do not believe I'll have any trouble finding him a great home.

My daughter came home from Los Angeles for a quick visit the last weekend in February. She brought home a beau for us to all meet. She's pretty serious about this young man, he may be "the one," she says. He was very polite, attentive to my daughter, did dishes, made beds... past my mama-test! He's very nice, and treats my daughter like a queen. I had a nice visit with them.

But, what's been taking most of my time lately is, I've started knitting up a storm. The daughter of one of the gals I work with, had twin girls the same weekend my daughter came to visit. How exciting! Twin girls! I had been working on these little beanie hats for them. The mom was thrilled with the beanies and sent me these photos... aren't they just adorable!? Oh, and the twins are cute too!

All the while, I've still been researching old family records and scanning documents and photos for the family newsletter. Busy, busy, busy!

I've been seeing in the news that Yorkies are being stolen. People put an ad in the paper, someone comes to look at the puppies, then later comes back when nobody is home and takes them. They're worth a lot, and they're small and easy to smuggle.

Welcome back! Seems it was just recently that you had pups! They're so friggin cute!
I so wish I could knit. You do nice work. And the kids don't look too bad neither. lol!

Take care,
Nancy

Just dropping by to say hello. I love the puppy and baby pics. I also like the beanies you made. I can crochet but I have not tried knitting. Hubby is a medical software trainer. He loves it because he travels to hospitals and clinics all over the US. Hugs to you and your family.

Hi there. Hope you are doing well. I am so happy for your daughter. Did dishes? She better keep him.

I love those little hats you made. Great job. Now when did you do this? Have you always had this hobby?
