Starting To Feel Like Home...

Alerts! Sounds! All my old friends! What more could a online journaler ask for?

This place is great! I love the fun I'm having, getting back into the HTML mode. I like having more control, the say as to what is put on my blog. Yes! This feels good. I have to admit, I wasn't really sure I would like my new place in cyberspace, but I'm loving it here!

I've been transferring my AOL entries to my new home here. Someday, I plan to close my AOL account, and when I do, I want to be sure I have all my old entries safely placed here. Moving is always alot of work, but I'm worth the move.

I love your new home, very comfy and inviting! I noticed in your links section you have me listed there for "My Big Fat Greek Life" on blogspot, but that isn't me...just thought I'd let you know b/c you have my screen name listed with the link, but it's not me...

Between the feeds and Bloglines, I've finally managed to clear my inbox of hundreds of alerts I would get daily. This is much nicer!

Glad you are having fun. I have a problem with the HTML mode, as I don't know much about it. Now I know who to ask...hehehe. Hope your son is feeling better. ~Deborah

Yes, I love this place! It was worth the move. I'm working on transferring my stuff as well. And when I say "I'm working", I mean I am making my husband do it for me. Hehehehe

I am very glad to be here as well.... isn't it funny how things can seem so dire, and then we find out that is was all for good?

I am thinking on that a lot.

I am still hanging on at AOL. I did start a Yahoo Blog though. I just hate to lose all those entries from AOL. Transfering them is a great Idea!!

Was it hard to transfer?
I have a hard time trying to get my new entries to show up even after publishing them. I have to log out and log back in and then sometimes it doesn't show up still. So I was afraid to make the move as I was getting frustrated. I love your journal though. I have one in both places. I'm sticking with AOL though for now.
I'm glad you are comfortable here in your new home and that I can easily keep up with you via bloglines.com

One nice thing about the exodus is that the list of ex-patriots did turn up some nice new journals to subscribe to on Bloglines. Nice to find you!

Thanks for the surprise visit. I see you are a displaced AOL member. So am I. :-)

It's good to be on Blogspot.

Glad I found you. I'll be adding you to my Bloglines.
